As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be instrumental in managing and optimizing project costs, ensuring financial efficiency while maintaining the highest standards. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Procuring subcontractors through tenders and preparing detailed documentation.
- Overseeing subcontractor management, including issuing orders, assessing applications, and preparing payment notices.
- Preparing and presenting monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) for internal meetings.
- Valuing work instructions and ensuring timely submission of variations and early warnings.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reconciliations.
- About You:
- We're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor who is eager to make a meaningful impact.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in Quantity Surveying.
- Experience in the rail or civil engineering sectors (preferred but not essential).
- A full driving licence.
- The ability to commute to Swindon or Cardiff.
- A proactive, solution-focused attitude and a desire to grow within the role.
